I have obsessed over one central question in my practise for the last four years - What is Communication in the Digital era? The politics of the disembodied Human Voice through the increased use of audio technologies like podcasting but particularly home voice assistants have taken my particular interest in the last one year. Although the bigger question for me is evolving into understanding its effects on Mental Health due to our technologically manipulated Human conversations online. Social Anxiety as a byproduct of the Digital era of Communication has been the core of my recent work in the last one year. Currently, I make Ink drawings and Sound pieces. Through my work I am looking for a way to return to meaningful human connection via active rather than passive communication and exchange.
